Steamships Limited is proud to announce its continued support as a Gold Sponsor of the Hiri Moale Festival, scheduled to take place from April 3-6th 2025. The company has again pledged K100,000.00 to assist in the celebration of this iconic cultural event in the Capital City.

The Hiri Moale Festival is an annual celebration that honours the rich heritage and traditions of the Motuan and Koitabuan people. Steamships is deeply committed to supporting initiatives that promote cultural preservation and community development. This sponsorship is part of the company’s ongoing dedication to supporting Papua New Guinea’s communities as well as the causes that our employees hold dear.

In addition to financial support, Steamships will continue to provide the Hanenamo contestants an opportunity to join the company in a specialised work-experience program. This initiative aims to empower young talents by offering them hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the company’s operations, helping to nurture the next generation of professionals.
