Remington Group has formally announced from its office last week (11 of November, 2022) that it is now calling on its interested applicant's to be part of the 2023 Apprenticeship Program . Students applying will be final year students in the field of electronics, IT, electrotechnology and similar fields.
The Apprenticeship Program is a four year program aimed at providing TVET graduates a career pathway and technical discipline. The program is facilitated in conjunction with the Department of Labour and Industrial Relations (DLIR) through the National Apprenticeship Trade and Testing Board (NATTB).
The apprenticeship program has so far assisted students in retaining certificates in their specialized trade since its inception in 2019 a total of 20 students have now passed through to its various development programs.
Remington Group CEO, Mr. Peter Goodwin said, "our Apprenticeship Program is a market leading program that we are particularly proud of as its sets us apart from our industry competitors. We closely support our Apprentices by creating a career pathway by closely pairing them with our experienced technicians and at the same time allowing them to earn a salary in a normal working environment".
" We believe in developing competent youths for today, equipping them for tomorrow's work challenges because we operate in a technological driven industry . In doing so we are contributing towards PNG's human resources through our engaged training programs", added Mr. Goodwin.
